Parents/Guardians of Pontchartrain Elementary,

It is with a heart full of Pontchartrain Pride that I warmly welcome each of you and your children to our Eagle’s Nest and to the 2023-2024 School Year. As a School Family, we are recognizing all of the amazing history of PES as we celebrate "Stars, Stripes and PES Forever" and look ahead to all of the learning experiences that await our students this School Year! Our Faculty and Staff are excited and grateful for the opportunity to partner with each of you as stakeholders of our learning community in each child’s learning experience this School Year.

At Pontchartrain, we will collectively strive to prepare students to be confident critical thinkers, resourceful problem solvers, persevering innovators and productive citizens who are joyfully empowered for a pursuit of lifelong learning. PES maintains a long-standing tradition of academic excellence as a direct result of the active support and partnership of each child’s family. Pontchartrain Elementary School exists as a dynamic place of both teaching and learning by partnering with our parents, equipping our educators and ultimately empowering our students to succeed in learning today and leading for tomorrow. Pontchartrain Eagles are educated in both mind and in heart ensuring that every student is taught to read and write and also inspired to lead, serve and do what is right.
